Itinerary (Day Wise)
Day 1 - Arrival at Ho Chi Minh City
Upon your arrival at Ho Chi Minh City, you will be met by our representative and
transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is free for you to explore Ho Chi Minh on
your own.
Day 2 - Full Day Ho Chi Minh City Tour with Cu Chi Tunnels - Saigon Evening Cruise with Dinner
- Start the tour from the Post Office in colonial-style and the Notre D
Cathedral. Go on to visit Thien Hau pagoda and a specific section that does n
exist in any other city of Vietnam – a bustling China Town, where every board is in
two languages: Chinese and Vietnamese, and so is the communication of the
inhabitants. In the center of this exciting area is a grandiose market: “Cho Lon”,
i.e. The Big Market. A lot of Chinese living in this quarter have obtained great
trading success with their know-how, wisdom and dynamic. After lunch in
Saigon, head northwest to Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the very few remaining
monuments to the Vietnam War. 200km of tunnels, dug by hand and inhabited by
the forces of the Vietnamese guerillas during the conflicts, are beneath t
ground in Cu Chi. At its peak, prior to the Tet Offensive in 1968, the tunnel
complex was a base to almost 10,000 troops. To this day, it remains one of the
most impressive examples of how fierce the War was. Return to Saigon in la
afternoon. - Normally, at 18.30pm (exact time advised upon reconfirmation), our tour guide
Gray Line will pick you up at your hotel and then transfer to the cruise‟s wharf for
a romantic dinner on board. The boat will slowly float along Saigon River whi
we enjoy a cool evening on the flow. From our comfortable desk, you just fr
yourself and look over the city with its dazzling lights in a tranquil, totally relaxing
ambiance. It is time you should stop for a while to relax and chill out before
continue your trip. Back to your hotel late evening.
Day 3 - Departure from Ho Chi Minh City
Today morning, check out from your hotel. Later on you will be transferred to the Ho
Chi Minh Airport to catch your flight back home.
Day 3 - Arrival at Da Nang
Upon your arrival at Da Nang airport you will be met by our representative and
transferred to your hotel. Check-in and relax for some time. Rest of the day is free to
explore Da Nang on your own.
Day 4 - Ba Na Hills Tour
Leave the bustle of Da Nang for a day and escape to the mountainous serenity of the
Ba Na Hills. After visiting the Linh Ung Pagoda, take a cable car to the top of Nui Chua
Mountain and grab lunch in a local restaurant. Spend the rest of your afternoon
captivated by the attractions at Fantasy Park. Your morning begins with pickup from
your hotel. A friendly guide drives you out of the city to Ba Na Hills, a resort founded
in the 1920s by French colonists. On the way there, stop at Linh Ung Pagoda to
marvel at a 220-foot (67-m) statue of a Bodhisattva. Pass by old French villas and a
historic wine cellar, learning about the French occupation of Vietnam from your guide.
Once in the mountains, board a cable car and ride to the summit of Nui Chua
Mountain. Make the easy trek to Nghinh Phong Peak and enjoy a panoramic view of
the surrounding region, and then stop in a restaurant for a tasty lunch of Vietnamese
cuisine. Later, venture to Ba Na Hill’s Fantasy Park, an indoor entertainment zone with
thrilling games for the whole family. Following an afternoon of adventure, make your
way back to Da Nang with your guide.
Day 5 - Departure from Da Nang
Today morning check-out from your hotel. You will be transferred to the airport to
catch your flight back.
Day 5 - Arrival at Hanoi - Transfer to Hotel
On arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, our local representative will be waiting
outside the customs area to welcome you and to take you to your hotel (Check-in
time is 3.00 pm). Rest of the day is free for you to explore Hanoi Town on your own.
Day 6 - Full Day Tour of Halong Bay
Early departure for Halong Bay, a World Heritage as designated by Unesco in 1994
with nearly 3,000 rocky islets. The drive may take you more than three to four hours
utmost depending on the high or low seasons‟ traffic, and will pass the Red Ri
Delta, one of the two granaries of Vietnam. Upon arriving in Halong, we will sail our
boat round its natural rocky gardens whilst a tasty seafood lunch is waiting on board.
Most of the islets here are not for living due to the lack of fresh water, but are
excellent for cruising to contemplate their miraculous draws on the horizon. Many of
them have great names from their inspirational shapes, including the Surprising cave,
Pelican Grotto, Chopstick rock, Butterfly rock, Turtle rock, the island of Fishman
Head, the Fighting Cocks, the Sail, the Urn, or the Sea Dog! We can wander to visit
grottos, so swimming, or just lazily relax on the sundeck with our drinks. The boat will
be back to the Wharf late afternoon where we take our car or coach to return to
Hanoi. Trip finished at your hotel in Hanoi.
Day 7 - Departure from Hanoi
After breakfast, check-out from your hotel. Later in the day you will be transferred to
the airport to catch your return flight back home.
